Bio:

Jörn Franke is a Senior IT Expert at the European Central Bank, where he is the technical lead of various data science related projects related to banknotes, economics, supervision. These projects involve large data, unstructured and structured contents from various internal and external sources. Additionally, he works as an expert reviewer for the European Commission for funding multi-million Euro projects with large industry-academia consortia. Before, he worked at various large corporations, such as DB, SAP, NEC and simultaneously lectured at university. Jörn has a PhD in distributed disaster response management systems and a master degree in business information systems.
