Bio:

Dr. Jonathan Masci (PhD 2014, IDSIA-University of Lugano, CH) is co-founder of the Swiss AI startup NNAISENSE and a pioneer in the field of geometric deep learning. His main interest is in the application of machine learning to computer vision, pattern recognition, and time-series analysis with over 5000 citations in this field. The algorithms he developed for the leading steel manufacturer, ArcelorMittal, were the first application of deep learning to heavy industry. He serves as reviewer and program committee member for the top machine learning and computer vision conferences and journals (NeurIPS, PAMI, JMLR, IJCV, IJCAI).
